2009 UK Barista Championship
Registration for the 2009 UK Barista Championship is now open. For your chance to represent the UK at the World Barista Championship in Atlanta next April please register for the regional heats. Baristi wishing to enter should send a cheque for £35 (£25 for SCAE members) payable to SCAE UK to Paul Meikle-Janney at Coffee Community, Midway House, Huddersfield Road, Meltham, Huddersfield, HD9 4AF, UK, email paul@coffee-community.co.uk.

The SCAE's Gold Cup programme promotes a better, measurable standard in filter coffee.
The Gold Cup sets minimum standards for coffee to water ratio, brewing temperature and holding time, and optimum standards for coffee extraction and strength.
As a certified Gold Cup Brewmaster Jason is qualified to test and troubleshoot filter coffee to scientifically meet the Gold Cup standard.
